Weekly mowing, feeding, aeration, bed care and pruning from one crew that knows your yard. Book a single visit, one season or the whole year.
Lawn visits run from mid-May to early October on the same weekday each week. If rain or hail moves a visit, we text you the new day.

A weekly visit
What happens on a lawn visit
A typical city lot takes our two-person crew about forty minutes. The order rarely changes, so nothing gets missed.
- Arrive
Gate, pets and toys
We check the yard is clear, latch the gate behind us and move hoses and toys off the lawn.
- Mow
The right height for the week
Seven to eight centimetres in summer heat, a little lower in spring and for the last cut in fall.
- Trim and edge
Fences, beds and walks
String-trimmed along fences and trees, with crisp edges along the walk and driveway.
- Tidy
Paths blown clean
Clippings blown back onto the lawn, never into the street or the storm drain.
- Leave
Photo note
A short message with photos, a watering tip for the week and anything we noticed, such as a broken sprinkler head.
Lawn and garden notes for Calgary
What our crews tell clients most often. Good habits between visits make every visit go further.
Water early, deeply, less often
About 2.5 cm a week including rain, early in the morning when less is lost to wind. In dry spells, check the City’s outdoor watering rules first.
Mow high in July
Leaving the grass longer shades the soil, keeps roots cool and crowds out weeds. Scalped lawns brown first in a heat wave.
After a hailstorm
Shredded hostas and perennials usually recover. We cut back damaged leaves on the next visit and tell you if anything needs replacing.
Before freeze-up
Evergreens lose water to winter chinook winds. A deep soak in October helps prevent brown needles in spring.
Questions people ask
Do I need to be home for lawn visits?
No. Leave the gate unlocked or share a code. We close it behind us and send a photo note when we leave.
What about dogs and dog runs?
Tell us about pets when you book. The crew checks the yard is clear before mowing, picks a safe route around dog runs and never leaves a gate open.
Do you bag the clippings?
By default we mulch them back into the lawn, which returns nutrients to the soil. Bagging is available when the grass is long or wet.
